The Full Story

It all started when my little brother asked me to officiate his wedding.  At first I was deeply honored, and then I panicked a little when realized this meant I had to learn how to perform a legal wedding.  Even as a lawyer (my day job), I was intimidated by this task.  The last thing I wanted was to do it wrong and find out my brother and his wonderful wife weren't actually married!  So I thoroughly researched all the wedding requirements in their county and took on the role of guiding them through the wedding process.  I became ordained, filled out the paperwork, and called their local county clerk to make sure I had dotted every i and crossed every t.  I worked with them on developing a unique ceremony script that suited them perfectly. 

Your wedding should be as unique as you are.  Officiating combines all my skills and passions: working with people on a personal level, guiding folks through a legal process, creative writing, and public speaking!  As your officiant, I will get to know you.  I will sit down with you and learn your love story, and then help you tell your love story on your special day.  I want you to feel like you are being married by a friend, not a stranger.  I would love to work with you!
